Greg Blount
If your school or library is ready for some real fun, have Greg pay a visit! Born and raised in Burnaby, B.C., Greg attended Simon Fraser University, and taught for three years in Powell River before leaving to travel. I'm still travelling, he maintains 27+ years later. Greg founded Minnow Books in 1979, and has been doing his powerful (and funny) presentations ever since. Using storytelling, he has inspired countless children and young adults to read great books. Greg has also delivered many workshops on such topics as Effective Book Talks, Mystery for Young Adults, What to Write, Young Adult Fantasy, Writing Great Stories, Storytelling and Great Young Adult Literature (with Kate Riley) in schools and at Library and Writer's Conferences.
